Our proprietary WhiteBoxTM technology is a machine-learning based system that captures Scope 1 carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and recycles wastewater, creating sustainable, high value products.

Proprietary emissions separation technology and sodium bicarbonate production equipment managed by AI digital twin

Captures Scope 1 CO2 emissions

Removes toxic emissions (e.g. SO2 and PM2.5)

Ability to recycle 100% of wastewater from the host site

Rapid deployment (approximately 14 months)

Installed in line with the host site's maintenance shutdown schedule; integration takes less than one day

Regardless of what feedstock the boilers burn, the system is integrated directly into the chimney (making it input agnostic)

Only 2,500sqm of space required

Existing renewables cannot provide continuous heat & pressure at such a small scale

WhiteBox™ reduces Scope 3 CO2 emissions via the manufacture and sale of sustainable products.

Provides corporations with a guaranteed long-term supply of:

Green sodium bicarbonate with up to 22x less carbon intensity than the incumbent alternative

Pure CO2 gas for industrial and medical applications

22x

Lower carbon intensity than the incumbent process

WhiteBoxTM sodium bicarbonate has been third-party verified as having a carbon intensity up to 22x lower than the incumbent.

WhiteBox™ has been third-party verified as being capable of achieving 22x less carbon-intensity than the incumbent SBC production process.

Industries that use sodium bicarbonate and CO2 gas:

Human food & beverages
Pharmaceuticals
Cosmetics
Household goods
Animal feed

The WhiteBoxTM set-up in Nestle’s Pretoria site has been in successful operation for over 10,000 hours.

The WhiteBoxTM set-up in Nestle’s Pretoria site has been in successful operation for over 10,000 hours.

With industry-first machine learning techniques, the Nestlé project demonstrates that the WhiteBoxTM captures Scope 1 CO2 emissions and recycles available industrial wastewater from the host site.

Putting Expertise into Practice

CO2 Removal

Successfully addressing CO2 removal volumes required by Nestlé (tailored to host site's decarbonisation targets)

2.5 million litres

Savings of more than 2.5 million litres a year (or approximately  60,000 litres a day).

The industrial-scale pilot project has directly upskilled and employed 15 people from the local community.

Each WhiteBox™ will create dozens of permanent jobs to be filled from local communities, and ~300 jobs during the construction phase.

Our other solutions

PlasticBox™

Via an integrated waste-to-energy facility that uses waste RDF as a feedstock to power the plant, PlasticBoxTM is the UK's first carbon neutral plastics upcycling process.

The PlasticBox™ is an end-to-end solution that recycles plastic-rich waste into food-grade accredited recycled plastics for use in food and drinks packaging.

FuelBox™

Our FuelBox™ product is a waste-to-energy system that diverts waste from landfill and produces alternative fuels such as green natural gas replacement and green hydrogen.
